GPR images of buried pipes
The image on the left shows the raw data collected over a group of pipes buried in a trench. The characteristic diffraction hyperbolae indicate the position of the pipes but it is difficult to see how many pipes there are and in what configuration they are in. The image on the left shows the data after processing. It is now clear there are three pipes indicated by the orange and red spots. The data was collected with GSSI equipment and the 120MHz antenna. The total image covers a region about 20m long and 5m deep.
