GPR image of water table in sand

This image is from a GPR survey collected up a hill on sand. Since the water table is flat, the depth of the water table beneath the surface increases as antennae are moved up the hill (to the right). Consequently the water table reflection dips to the right. The data was collected with GSSI equipment and the 500MHz antenna. The total image covers a region about 35m long and 4m deep.
